Hi, I'm Daniel 👋
About
I like figuring things out, from how data fits together to why a design feels right. Coding lets me turn that curiosity into tools people actually use. I care about clarity, pace and that satisfying click when everything runs cleanly.
My work sits where data, automation and the web meet, often with energy data in the mix. I enjoy turning noisy time series into clear stories, shaping interfaces that explain themselves and building pipelines that just flow. I use machine learning and well-designed algorithms when they add real value, from smarter forecasting to sharper monitoring, and I'm comfortable with the gritty bits like time zones, gaps in data and fast-moving markets.
I believe good design strengthens function. I ask questions, test ideas, fix the awkward edges and keep tightening the loop with honest metrics and readable code. I like systems that are dependable, fast and easy to understand.
Away from the keyboard, you'll find me tinkering with side projects, exploring new tech and enjoying good music with a cup of tea. I learn quickly, stay curious and like building things that last.
If you're into smart, human-centred tech in energy and beyond, let's talk.

I've worked on a variety of projects, from simple websites and tools to complex web applications. Here are a few of my favorites.
Splendid Journey - My First Big Project
The project for Splendidjourney consists of two main components. The client-facing website allows users to browse all relevant information about the company and its services. Clients can request services tailored to their preferences and needs. On the administrative side, the system enables administrators to view and manage all service requests. They can quickly mark requests as accepted, refused, or pending, and have the capability to delete requests from the database. This streamlined approach enhances both user experience and administrative efficiency.
NightCrawl
NightCrawl Website is a project in the planning stages that aims to bridge the gap between nightclubs and their clients. The website is built using modern technologies like React and Tailwind CSS to provide a seamless user experience. For now the projects is paused so I decided to opensource the website.
PDF Maker
I developed this project to address the challenge of using PDFs as resources in my university, where teachers often upload Word and PowerPoint files. This tool automatically converts and merges these files when asked(there is both options, with or without merging), facilitating seamless access to the desired content.
Abigail Goodman's Portfolio
Abigail Goodman's Portfolio is an evolving project focused on showcasing her expertise in Architectural Technology and Construction Management. This portfolio is being developed at a deliberate pace, allowing for creativity and a thorough understanding of the underlying technology. As part of this journey, Abigail is learning the intricacies of web development, ensuring that each aspect of the portfolio reflects her personal touch and professional growth. The goal is to create a comprehensive and visually appealing platform that highlights her projects, skills, and achievements in the field. In the future, there is potential to transform this portfolio into an open-source project, providing easy-to-use code blocks for other ATCM students, fostering a community of shared knowledge and resources.

Discover what old clients and partners have to say about me.
I had the pleasure of working with Daniel for over a year. From day one, he demonstrated a high level of structure and efficiency in his work, quickly getting up to speed on complex tasks and delivering results with minimal supervision. Daniel is a true self-starter — proactive in identifying what needs to be done, and taking ownership of tasks from start to finish. His ability to work independently while still being a great team player makes him a valuable part of any team.

I can highly recommend Daniel. He supported me with programming tasks and handled them both quickly and effectively. The work was delivered professionally and with great skill, meeting all expectations. Daniel is competent, structured, and very easy to collaborate with – I give him my best recommendations.

I asked Daniel to develop a website for my luxury car passenger transportation company, based on the ideas I presented him with, but with enough freedom to incorporate any other ideas he had. When he presented me with the first draft, I was positively surprised since both in terms of design and functionality, it was considerably better than what I had imagined. Communication was always fluid, with short response times, which made it possible to finish the project within the planned deadlines. The final work exceeded my best expectations at all levels, so I was extremely pleased to have bet on Daniel, who, being still very young, has shown a professionalism and a sense of responsibility that is rare to see at this age.
